Meet the Team - Nicola Buckley

Hi my name is Nicola and I am the owner and creator of Florence & Amelia’s.  I opened Florence & Amelia's in October 2014 and I can safely say it's been the best (and scariest) decision I've ever made.  Prior to opening Florence & Amelia's I  spent the majority of my working life in a law firm in Manchester.  My favourite jobs in this shop are ordering all our lovely products, restoring tired old furniture and designing the window displays.  I love holding the paint workshops and chatting with all our amazing customers.  When I'm not in the shop I'm usually trying to restore our Victorian house (the film "Money Pit" springs to mind) or just hanging out with my boys, going to the cinema and family meals.  I really hope you enjoy browsing our online store and if you're ever in Stalybridge please pop in and say hi.
